5.0 CONCLUSIONS
The test data indicates that the Microcon™ performs
it’s intended task "removal of respirable
size airborne particulate from the air within it’s
effective area of influence".
The size of the effective
area of influence is to a large extent dependent upon a
number of factors including drafts, obstructions and machine
operating
speed. All these factors can influence the aerodynamics behavior of airborne
particulate and should be considered in any proposed application(s).
If these factors are adequately addressed and the manufacture’s
instructions followed then the Microcon™ should perform
as indicated.
